Can't. Get MacBook Pro On Line

Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro and I use a Verizon Hotspot to connect to the Internet. The hotspot has a five digit password. When I try to log in with my Mac it asks for the hotspot password. The join icon will not light up unless I enter 6 digits. How do I activate the join icon with 5 digits?

You need to contact Verizon support. We have no idea which Verizon Hotspot device you have and whether or not it's configurable. In other words, is it possible to change the password and or the encryption.
