Rattle with twelve south palmguard?

I recently got the 12 south palmguard for my macbook air and it seems to cause the trackpad to really rattle. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on whether it's malaligned? I feel like the trackpad has a lot of annoying rebound rattle whenever I touch it. I'll post a pic. thanks
