I asked the following question today in an Apple Store in the UK..

"Ever since I upgraded both my iPhone 5s and my 5th generation iPod Touch to IOS8, whenever somebody calls me, both my iPhone and iPod ring! I do not use my iPhone as an entertainment device, nor do I want to use my iPod as a phone, so how do I disable the iPod acting like it is a phone?"

There answer was..... go to settings, iCloud and there should be something to turn off.

WRONG..

If you want something done correctly do it yourself I guess.

Go to settings, FaceTime and turn off iPhone Cellular calls.

LMFAO..

Wow. I would think someone there would either know that or know how to look it up. The ability to turn that on was a big deal for lots of folks.

Thanks... we've known about this for some time. Whenever I receive a call here at my home office, everything rings. Drives me nuts but sometimes I'm away from my desk doing other things so the loud ringing noise from my iMac gets my attention. :Smirk:
