Nearly there...

Hey there all,
Just received my email from Apple saying my new MBP is on its way :headphone
First ever mac ive owned, been using PC's for 7years.
Really excited, ive been reading lots of people having problems. This believe it or not does not bother me one bit, there is always a problem with somethin and if its that bad there is the Warrenty.

Been looking at the Widgets and a few apps i want. Anyone here used iCash? Also im not the ultimate game player but ive added my support to get BF2 onto MAC.

I just got my email notice too! Apple's email said estimated delivery date is March 29th, this Wednesday, but we'll see if it actually works out that way!

I am not skeptical or worried about the problems either... can't wait to play around w/ my first Mac and put it's functionality to good use.

Same as me, and mine arrived today! A day ahead of schedule! Well done Apple!

Oh man, I hope I get mine by at least when the email claimed! I called Apple just to get an idea of where it was being shipped from, because FedEx's website hadn't been updated yet.

It's coming from China, after which it's flown into Alaska. Then it's flown into the continental US from there. I just hope that there are multiple distribution centers in the US that Alaska feeds to, because then I could hope for it to be in Chicago by this evening (assuming Chicago would be their midwest hub, it has to come to Michigan for me).

I can't wait! My gig of RAM should be here today too, yay

It seems that you already know that Macs are awesome. I love my (family's) iMac.

I just checked FedEx's page again, and it has been updated. Expected delivery time is 10:30AM Wednesday morning. I'll be at work then, but I'll be going to pick it up after work then. I will def. be posting pics

I suppose I'll hold off on putting the clothes on my MBP before posting pics, just for you.

I was using a MacBook the other day at my friends house and I have to say...What an awesome machine.

Mine is STILL in Japan... I guess it got delayed or missed the cutoff time for delivery or something like that. Hopefully it should be here Friday at 10:30AM (although I'll be at work... ) and then I'll have it by this weekend. Maybe I can use a wicked mirror to take pictures of itself and post pics that way hah! ::crosses fingers for 'timely' delivery::

Dispatched on 25th, received on the 29th. Great stuff. TNT were the courier(sp?) for me.
Its great when its arrives slyydrr, shame to take it outta its packaging its nicely done.

Awesome!!!! Your gonna love it. I'm just about getting my head around things. I dunno if anyone else gets this but i seem to be able to type like a demon on the mbp keyboard hehe

Well, it's here, and I'm typing on it right now as we speak! It's awesome... I haven't had any weird noises at all. Sounds great, feels great, and well, it's great!
