When I upgraded iOS 8.4, I lost the ability to connect my iPhone to my Bluetooth radio in my car. What happened and what to do? Will they have an update to fix the problem?

The update to iOS 8.4 did nothing to prevent your iPhone from connecting. Go over your settings and if necessary, reboot your iPhone.

There is some bug in iOS 8.4 affecting quite a few folks connecting to their car's built in bluetooth across several auto makers. I've seen multiple fixes that worked for some and not for others. It affected me with both vehicles, a Toyota and a Ford (Lincoln).

What I finally did just a week ago has, so far, seemed to get everything functioning correctly again in one of them.
I finally went into the bluetooth settings of my iPhone and the Toyota and selected the Forget this device on both of them and then repaired them. They've been playing nice with each other the last week without having to pull off the side of the road and turn bluetooth on and off multiple times to get them working together.
