Why can't I send a message using The Message app?

I keep getting unable to send a message Air when using the message app on my iPad

Discovered that I could turn off subject field and was able to send one message successfully.

Then I try to send another message and nothing happens when I click on the send button .

Of the top of my head, i'd say it might have something to do with you connection. I'd switch airplane mode on/off, or reset network settings (settings > general > reset) and see what happens...?

I have the same problem. Tried turning off Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth. Nothing seems to work. What else?

Are you trying to send just text or large pics or something like that? did you try resetting your network settings?

Just trying to send a short message. This has gonon for months.
