I just got done with a fresh install and somehow I've already got a virus. Randomly when I open a new tab and click I get a popup window (new tab in chrome) which opens stamplive.com and some add then it tries to download .exe's.
My problem is that I'm using a Mac. Im not a computer literate so I only hear others say that Mac won't be attacked by virus but I still have it. The virus is on Google Chrome since I am not used to using Safari.

Can't see your post however this is malware as there are no viruses for Mac OS X.

Downlaod AdwareMedic and run that in Scan mode and consider a donation to the developer if you find it works. When all is up and running, download AdBlockPlus and Ghostery and enable in your Safari Preferences.

It can be removed from Chrome by going to 'More Tools - Extensions' and deleting the extension.
