last import view in photos

I deleted a folder in photos unfortunatley i dont really know what, it possibly was the album or folder for events which was not something i used a great deal, the reason i deleted it was that when creating new albums they went into this folder instead of in the list of other albums on the left side of the app) and the end result is that the photos application no longer shows the last imported tab on the left hand side.

Is there any way to get the last imported tab back

I'm not sure I follow exactly what you did but try this:

In the Photos side bar, move your cursor slowly to the right next to "Albums" and word "hide" or "show" should appear. Click on "show" to unhide whatever it is that's not showing.
"Last Import" should be one of those items.

How about using your Time Machine backup to restore the Photos folder you deleted? Have you tried that? I really don't see how removing a folder would subsequently remove the "Last Import" option. There may be something else going on. You may wind up having to restore the entire Photos application.
