Guidelines for Installing Security Updates out of Sequence

Hello,

I discovered that Software Update has not been finding all versions of Security Update. I ran Software Updates several times and it says there are no updates (except for Yosemite upgrade).

So I downloaded and installed some of the Security Updates manually, but realized I missed one. I'd like to know if there are potential issues installing them out of sequence.

I have two Macs (let me refer to them as A & B) both with Mountain Lion 10.8.5. I have slightly different questions about these since Software Update behaved differently.

MAC A:
Here are the Security Updates for Mac A (as verified by System Information > Installations). The last Software Update found and installed by the App Store was 2014-003. After that it said there were no more updates.

2014-001 Installed by Software Update
2014-002 Installed by Software Update
2014-003 Installed by Software Update
2014-004 Installed manually today
2014-005 * I did not install because I overlooked this one.
2015-001 Installed manually today
2015-002 Installed manually today
2015-003 * I did not install because description didn't indicate it was for Mtn Lion
2015-004 Installed manually today

Question 1 regarding Mac A:
Would there be a problem installing 2014-005 now (i.e. out of sequence)? Or is it better to revert to my CCC backup for 2014-004 and then install the Security Updates in sequence starting with 2014-005?


MAC B:
I recently upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion 10.8.5. Then I ran Software Update which installed Security Update 2015-004. However, it skipped four Security Updates. Here's the list:

These are the Security Updates when I had Lion installed:
2011-005 Installed by Software Update
2013-001 thru 004 Installed by Software Update
2014-001 thru 004 Installed by Software Update
2014-005 * not installed *
2015-001 thru 003 * not installed *
2015-004 Installed by Software Update upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.5

Question 2 regarding Mac B:
Do I need to install all of the following missing Security Updates?
2014-005
2015-001 thru 003
