So I was able to salvage 2x 4gb 2rx8 pc3-10600s-09-11-f3 RAM chips and was wondering if they would be compatible with my MacBook. My MacBook is a mid-2010 13-inch with 2x 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 currently installed. It also has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Well it depends on where you scavenged the memory from. Be aware PC memory is usually very different from Apple compatible memory. Macs demand low density modules whereas PCs are usually cheaper high density. Your MB uses PC3-8500 modules so I suggest not using them.
