The are flashing messages that I have won prizes; how do I get rid of this?

Do you have MacVX installed ?? Anyways, follow along with these instructions to remove it from Applications, and Safari, IF ITS THERE !!! DONT DONT download anything they ask you too.

Instead, download AdwareMedic and run it, and it should remove the Malware you have. Restart your Mac.
If its still there, download ClamXav and run that.

Both these are free, and are not a resource hog, so don't be worried about keeping them on your Mac. They are the best out there, for this type of crap . .
