So i recently purchased a new 13" rMBP:
OSX 10.10.3
2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
Let me start by saying I love it - but i've run into one pretty significant problem - 1080p mp4 movies stutter like crazy! It happens at the same spots every time in the movie, the video freezes, but the sound keeps going, then 30-60 seconds later, the video skips forward to catch up. It would be ok if it happened only once, but it reoccurs every few minutes or so (always at the same scenes). I've reproduced this on several 1080p mp4 files, with both VLC and Quicktime. 1080p mkv and avi files work fine, its just mp4 that screw up. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? Any advice would be much appreciated.
