I am a newbie to this forum and have had some trouble loading cd's into my Mac. I want to load my purchased cd's onto my ipad and my Mac seems to allow some purchased cd's to load and not others ie; it doesn't even read the cd (makes some noise and then ejects my cd without reading it or recognising it)

turn off Mac
grab can of compressed air and attach straw
insert straw into the slot and give it 3-4 quick bursts in several directions
wait 30 seconds and turn mac back on
