pdf annotation iphone and mac compatible?

Hi everyone,
So far I use preview on my macbook pro to read and annotate pdfs.

Now I want to be able to annotate pdfs on my iphone 6. But I want to be able to work on these pdfs on BOTH my phone and mac.

Is there an app for my phone which will allow me to save the annotated pdfs and still be able to edit the annotations on my mac? Any recommendations? If it means I have to use another application (instead of preview) on my mac, that's OK - I just need a solution which works on both, so I can still see and edit annotations on my mac that I made on my phone.

Try this one from the iTunes store. It's supposed to work just like Preview, and it's free.

Thanks - have you tried it? Can you open <files which have been annotated on the phone> on the mac and view and edit the annotations?

You have to first be able to transfer the PDF files from your iPhone to your Mac. How are you doing the transfer and no, I have not tried the app since I do not work with PDF files on my iPhone. Since the app is free, give it a try. If it doesn't do what you want, remove it from your iPhone.

Foxit has a free one for iOS also.

Have a look at PDF Pen for Mac PDF Pen Mac ~ Mac App Store and the accompanying iOS App in the App Store PDF Pen iOS.

Some might call it pricey, but they work seamlessly together, and yes I do use them . . .
