I have installed 2 partitions and my my hard drive and installed OS 10.6.8 both partitions planning to upgrade one of those tp Yosemite. I can boot the IMac from either partition. However, neither partition appears as a hard drive icon on my desktop. What can I do to retrieve these icons?

Thx,
Don Rieg

Thanks

It worked great. I was looking for a solution in the System preferences and had never looked in Finder preferences. Many thanks!
