tell application "Finder"
set fileFolder to choose file with prompt "Please select your mom"
set fileList to every file in fileFolder as alias list
repeat with I form 1 to number of items in fileList

set myFile to(item I of fileList)
tell application "adobe"
activate

If I'm assuming correctly, and you're simply trying to bring three images (jpg, tif, png, etc.) into one Photoshop document, you can:

Open one of the images in Photoshop, or create a new Photoshop document.
THEN
Drag an image into the open Photoshop document (not onto the Photoshop icon in your dock; that will open a new document);
OR
Go to File and then Place and bring an image in that way.
