My iMac was running very slowly. I just did a cache cleanup with online support, however, it did not help my slow iPhoto. Any suggestions?

Which iMac do you have, year and model? And tell us the version of OS X you're running?

Is iPhoto the only app that is running slow or are there others? You might wish to download and run the free OnyX application which will provide cleanup and optimization. It's the only one we recommend and it's safe.

Download OnyX from here. Be sure to download the version that matches the version of OS X you're running. Gatekeeper will try to prevent you from opening OnyX. Just right click on the icon and select run as that will override Gatekeeper.
