Cinema Display

If I'm using cinema display, will the resolution on screen be the same with an MBP retina versus MBA? Or is MBP retina better on the display?

You didn't mention which Cinema Display you have but both the MBA and rMBP should be able to use the Cinema Display at its native resolution. Of course the rMBP used by itself has the better display.

I have the thunderbolt cinema display - original one. Just seemed less crisp than it used to when using MBA. Thanks for the insight! Much appreciated.
