older version of safari

I recently had to downgrade from yosemite because if did not run well on my older laptop, now I can no longer access facebook on the reinstalled mountain lion browser (safari 6.0) I am looking for a link to download a more recent version of safari, without having to reinstall yosemite.

HI thank you for the reply, but they only have safari links for up to 5.1, i'm already running 6.0, but that is not new enough to run facebook, i'm looking for 7 or 8, just without having to install yosemite

Migrating to older versions of Safari is difficult given that parts of it are integrated with the OS. A simple solution here would be to simply use a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
