I dusted my wired keyboard while on and now it won't type regularly, puts in calculations, most keys will not work, cannot type regular keystrokes

Shut down your Mac and remove the wired keyboard. Turn it upside down and gently tap on the bottom. You'll probably see lots of little bits of dirt and other stuff fall out. You can also buy a can of compressed air at any electronic store. Blow air at and around the keys while you hold the keyboard on an angle. Let's see if that gets it working again.

Thank you. That worked. Amazing, something so simple. I really appreciate your help.
