Mac Air 2011 + Samsung 850 EVO 500GB - Enclosure help

I bought a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD along with Sabrent Ultra Slim USB 3.0 to 2.5-Inch SATA External Aluminum Hard Drive Enclosure. My mac air 2011 (only has USB 2.0) can't read the drive. Will a simple USB 2.0 - Male A to Male A work as Sabrent says it is USB 2.0 down compatible? If not can anyone recommend an enclosure which works? I am looking at - Sabrent Ultra Slim USB 2.0 to 2.5-Inch SATA External Aluminum Hard Drive .

Never mind... I realized I have to initialize and format the SSD before use :)
