You need to get your facts together and post what actual versions you're running and what you're resetting, at least so that it makes some sense.

I take it you actually mean version 8.0.5 as that is the current version under Yosemite. Can you describe what problems you are having please to help with your problem? It may be adware or some other problem, also what Mac and how mych memory and free space on the hard drive?
