I keep getting a spinning ball for a few seconds when I am surfing the internet. I restarted and that didn't help. What can I do, it is very irritating. I have a white MacBook 2009 model. Thank you

Need to know the specs of your computer…what OS version it is running, and how full the HD is (gigs used & gigs free).

Go to  > About This Mac > Memory.

Take a look at Activity Monitor as a first step to see if any app(s) is/are using up a lot of CPU power and/or memory.
