Hi folks,
I've followed all the guides I can find to clearing these annoying popups out of my system, but they persist.
I've removed them from Chrome's Content & Cookies areas, however they find a way to return.
I've run virus software on the Mac side and the Windows partition also.

Any permanent solutions?

yes it's called adblock plus you can download it for free from here.

https://adblockplus.org

it gets rid of all ads online including youtube ad's and it works to block mackeeper and others on chrome however you have to delete chrome and completely remove its preferences.

Thanks for that link. It's saying one thing to remove is /Library/LaunchDaemons/Jack.plist.
I've had Jack installed. It's an audio server used with the open source Ardour audio sampler. ardour - the digital audio workstation
Guess there's malware using the same name?
