Weird request but I have had a timelapse camera going for a few years now and I need to delete all the images where nothing is happening. Is there a quick way to select all the jpegs that were taken at weekends and also those taken between 6pm and 8am? Thanks for any help!

Set the search parameters as needed. There are other options for date, like before, after, etc.
Can also add 'Kind is' set to '.jpg' or whatever is needed.

Thanks for that but unless I'm doing it wrong that won't help me. I need to be able to select saturdays, sundays and times after 6pm and before 8am

Tried that - doesn't seem any use either. Like the standard finder it allows me to look for ranges of dates but not weekends or time spans. Looks like i might end up having to do it manually :(

Maybe use it in combination with the Finder to select certain groups and move then into a folder and use the Finder's optional list views on date etc.

Using the Finder's optional use of using the shift key and command key can sure do a lot of fast selecting.

Just a crazy thought, but what about one of the apps that looks for duplicates and I'm just wondering if it could search all images that basically have no new content. Just wondering… hmmm…??? or I wonder if Automator could do anything… ???? ;)
