Safari cache in search bar keeps contents

I see a magnifying glass there but how do I clear that cache as I done clear cache etc in Safari but the magnifying cache how do I clear that one as it retains my information on it so where do I fin sit to clear it?

That's not the cache. It's the History. Go to the menu in Safari and hit History, then "Clear History and Website Data" at the bottom.
