Power Mac 6500/225

Can someone tell me what happened to my Power Mac 6500/225?
The little green light in the front of the computer doesn't light-up anymore...
There is sound in the computer, i can put a CD in the CD tray, but nothing happens!
I can put a ZIP 100 mb cassette, it goes in but nothing happens!
I can put a diskette also and nothing happens!
What is my problem?

It sounds like the power supply has died. This can be replaced (http://www.dvwarehouse.com/Power-Su...9.html&pltid=da7b0cf4a77250581a7e69d29698ac62) but given the age of the 6500 you might be better off putting the $$$ toward a new computer. Have you tried the 6400 Zone? It specializes in the 6400-6500 models and has its own forum: http://www.zone6400.com/.
