Assistance needed iMac late 2009 model video issue

Hey everyone,

I really need some assistance in getting my imac late 2009 fixed again.
I have tried about everything. Reinstall, exchanged memory etc.

If you look at the attached pictures you will see the video is intimated.
Do you guys/girls have any idea?

Strangest thing is that when i connect my macbook pro via the display port..it works fine.

Would love to replace anything on this mac....just to get it up and running again.

The graphic card on your iMac is failing and thus all of those visual artifacts. The only fix for this is to replace the Logic Board (~700-850 USD)..

The reason plugging in your MBP works fine is that you are using the iMac as just a LCD monitor at that point and that aspect will work unless the LCD is physically damaged..
