All you need is the proper AC outlet converters. Local Apple Stores and most stores that sell electronic devices carry the converter plugs. Apple devices are designed to operate on the various voltages available throughout the world.

The three main types of plugs in Europe are the Schuko (used in Germany, Spain, and Portugal), the Europlug (used in France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Russia), and the Swiss plug (used in Switzerland and Lichtenstein, if memory serves me well).
Swiss plugs will fit in Schuko or Europlugs, but the reverse is not true.
Europlugs and Schuko plugs are very similar. In my experience, they're interchangeable.
There's also an Italian plug, but I've never used it because all of the hotels I stayed in in Italy had either Schuko or Europlugs.
If you want to charge more than one gadget at once, you could get something like this power strip, which accepts any kind of plug. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in 120 volt countries (eg USA, Canada, most of Latin America), but I think there are others out there that do.
