Pop it in and start it holding down C to boot from the dvd drive. Install.

And vowels and punctuation might help too.

Craig - LOL! :) Yes must be a 'young one' who communicates by texting - that 140 character limit on Twitter seems like a strong incentive! I did not understand the apparent sentence to even offer a response. Dave

It's also a good disguise for those who can't spell! Actually, if the first and last letr of each word is presnt, you should be able to read it at your norml speed.

Just arriving a bit late here, but besides the atrocious language and spelling if one can even call it that, no Mac can even erase a working booted System, and as it was obviously working, what's the actual problem…???

Or maybe I just didn't do my translation properly… ;) ;) :D

Actually there is a way to do it in Terminal but if you did that and didn't have an install disk...
If what he actually did was repartition, same problem.
If you don't have an install disk or USB stick you're SOL.

Thanks cradom, and like so many other first time posters, they just seem to disappear like a Cheshire cat with their question and words all left dangling, and especially so in this case.

In all fairness we probably scared him off. However the point stands - if you want help, we cant work in a vacuum, we need clear concise information so we can understand exactly what's wrong.
I'll try and help anybody, but if I cant read the question it doesn't work.

But only because you seem to run a wider browser window or your display at a high resolution… ;) :D
