update for Adobe Flash

Open System Preferences in the dock. On the bottom row of icons, you will see an Adobe Flash icon. Open it and go through the tabs and you will see the button "Check for Updates"...or something close to that. I am not at my Mac right now, but these instructions should be pretty close. Always make sure you get your updates from Adobe. Other places will sometimes try to sneak tool bars and other unwanted software in with the download.

Depends if you have the 'notify me' selected in Systems Preference. Some folk opt for the 'never check' radio button.
