So I bought a Mac Book pro on ebay and when I got it , It immediately started in disk utility. So when I click on Install OS X I get to the last step to click on Recovery HD and it says its locked? What do I do? Then I tried Disk Utility and All options of Restore and Erase are greyed out. Please Help

Did you use Pay Pal to purchase the MacBook Pro? If so, inform the seller that you want a refund. You didn't offer any specs on the machine or what version of OS X it's running but it sounds like it might be protected.

The machine should have been wiped clean by the seller and his Apple ID disassociated from it. You can go ahead and try to install Yosemite but it's likely going to ask for an Apple ID and password. If the former owner's Apple ID has not been cleared from the machine, you will be unable to install Yosemite. I think your best bet is to make contact with the former owner and find out what's going on.
