I have a DVI display connected, a while ago I was using 2 displays (DVI and VGA), when both were connected, the DVI deactivated randomly and only the VGA worked (which was a smaller one - DVI = 32" - VGS = 19") So I decided to get rid of the VGA display and only use the DVI. Now the DVI still deactivates randomly and I have to use the VGA port on the same display to work. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Are you connecting through mini-display port or HDMI port?
What happens if you change Energy Saver prefs?

Thanks for the reply, now I'm connecting though HDMI port, but when the DVI interface gets disabled, I have to connect with a mini-display port adapter for VGA. About the energy saver preferences I set the display sleep after 15 minutes

I think you should try a minidisplay to DVI adapter.
Some Macs have this problem - permanently. Which Mini is it?
