I have a macbook air and want to adjust the contrast on the text on the yahoo or google search results page.

You know how you do a search and all the results that show up are in blue at first? Then when you click on a result it turns purple so you can keep track of the ones you've looked at.

Well the difference on my screen between the blue and the purple is so slight that I can't tell which are purple and which are blue.

What I've tried:

Preferences>Display>color>calibrate, but to no avail. That seems to affect overall darkness and contrast in graphics, but not text. Can anyone help? Thank you.

What browser?
In Firefox-Preferences/Content, click the colors button.
In Safari-I don't think you can do it anymore..unless Glimmer can?
