Can not open iphoto

We're going to need a bit more information. What happens when you try to open iPhoto? Did it crash the last time you had it open?
Thank you for responding, when I try to open iphoto, it says iphoto cannot open because of a problem
check with the developer to make sure iphoto works with this version of mac osx. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and the mac osx.
I don't remember iphoto crashing, just the message. I may have downloaded an update that I shouldn't have. I think my macbook was limited some time ago. I am not very computer oriented, just get by. thanks, Nina
