Not sure what to do about this: When I view the items in my Trash, it shows 5 items total; but when I select "secure empty trash", it shows that the system is deleting ~7000 items.

This happened after I installed Kies for Mac, and then moved it to the Trash. Also at some point while installing Kies, an application called "MacKeeper" installed as well, which I also moved to the Trash once I realized this.

This is Mac OS X version 10.6.8

Applications are actually folders full of files. Right-click on one and select "Show Contents" sometime.
And you DID GOOD getting rid of MacKeeper.

That's assuming that all the MacKeeper bits and pieces have actually been deleted.

Make sure there are no leftover files with anything to do with 'zoebits'.
