Apple kb articles all load as empty white pages

With OS X 10.10 and Safari 8.
Other browsers they open just fine.

The solution is to uninstall EasySimbl

To do that, you open EasySIMBL and uncheck the Use EasySIMBL box.
Then you can just move the app to the trash.

Now to find something else that gives me regular size tabs and icons on the tabs.

It now appears EasySIMBL was the root of many issues with Safari.

As I visit other sites now, other issues are resolved that I previously thought must have been an issue with the site itself.

Links within a page just not doing anything or loading blank pages on other sites.

Ex. the current CultofMac deal - several links on that page previously did nothing - Neither the 'View all products link' nor the 'Click Here' link to view more info related to the software would not work.

Will have to start asking users if they have this app installed and I would guess many of them will forget they have it.

(After years with Safari, it's back to Firefox for me - now where's that tabs on bottom plugin? Got it...
May be time to try Opera again. Does 1Password work with Opera now? Why yes it does.)

Well I'm resurrecting this thread as I just got hit with this same problem, but I hate to say I don't have EasySimbl installed and I'm also running Mavericks 10.9.5 and its Safari v. 7.1.8 and I haven't installed anything new lately.

I've searched everywhere and have done ALL the maintenance suggestions and resetting suggestions ad nauseam but still end up with apparent blank pages when using Safari to open any of Apple's kb support articles. i.e.: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204229

It seems to be a common problem according to some web searches.

I say apparent as I just realized that the apparent blank pages aren't blank, but the text is way offset and distorted and must be scrolled to access, and graphs are missing from the same page that works properly with Firefox.

Anyone know how to fix this problem???

Sure does seem to me the more of thse handy little doodahs we use the more trouble we make for ourselves!

SIMBL was always a hot mess, in any incarnation. Just get rid of it entirely.

In case either of you gentlemen missed it, I did mention that I don't have any "SIMBL" stuff installed, and all my normal working Safari Extensions have been turned Off and still the posted Apple support pages don't display properly, as I mentioned.

They do however if I log into and use my "tester" account, yet don't if boot into Safe Boot Mode with my account.

I can't think of anything added or changed to affect Safari viewing such pages. Very strange.

I also whitelisted apple.com in my ad & tracking blockers.

It's not that I'm afraid.

I'm at a loss for any proper normal explanation.

I finally found a fix that worked and allowed the Apple Support pages to display properly in Safari yesterday.

The solution was to turn off the preference setting to never use font size smaller than ...

I thought, WTH, so I googled the solution and sure enough!!!

So it now works but I don't know what or why Apple has started mucking up their pages, at least for lots of users.

Anyway, just in case it helps some other users that experienced the same problem. It was driving me crazy trying to find the cause and a fix.

I deleted SIMBL agent some time ago. I figure if it is ever needed I will be asked to download it again anyway (like Flash Player). It has not caused any problems I have noticed but then I don't use Safari except for testing reasons, my default at the moment is Opera Beta. What put me onto it was Clean My Mac (sorry I do use it) menu bar extension which kept telling me SIMBL Agent had frozen or was "not responding" after force quitting it numerous times and noticing no difference other than faster loading times on some web pages I used the included Uninstaller to remove it.
