Finder dock icon disappears

Hey people, I have been tweaking my icons using both CandyBar and manual Resources .icns

Somehow, my finder icon has disappeared. It's just a blank space with a white dot and that hover text. I've tried several ways to bring it back, no luck?

Anyone have a foolproof method to fix? FYI, my CPU probably can't do an OS reinstall bc it's a work computer.

Btw, this is for Snow Leopard, again can't update bc it's work computer.
