Connection Timeout

I have a Old Mac 867 933mhz with an running Mac OS 10.5.8 when I try to connect to the internet i get a message that reads connection timeout.....and another that reads " All WEP networks are not available. My laptop running OS10.9.4 has no problem connection, whats up with that ???????

Your Mac's Specs
2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Your old Mac only supports WEP whereas your router probably does not. WEP is old and is no longer supported and besides, it is not secure. Your other machine connects OK because it's probably using WPA or WPA2 which are supported.
