My Hard Drive has disappeared!

I was just checking Permissions, etc with Disk Utility by starting up with my Install disk and Disk Utility isn't showing my Hard Drive!!??? When I try and start up my iMac it show a flashing question mark on a Folder. I have tried starting up from Diskwarrior Disk but that also doesn't show my Hard Drive??!!

do you have your original imac restore disks, try booting off of those and then goin to disk utility.

Yes that is what I am doing... I have booted off the Restore Disk (by holding down C on start up) and I am then using Disk Utility on that disk

your hard drive is dead, or the connection is weird. but thats all i can think of..i may be wrong.
