Ipod and other computer

hello i was wondering if i could put lots say 800 songs on my ipod and transfer them to my friends computer?

if your ipod is mac formatted then you need a utility to read the HFS file format, cant remember the name of the program (sorry) but i know that its on ilounge if you have a butchers

Its called MacOpener costs like 50 bucks. You'd be better off burning data DVDs. Thats what I had to do to put some of my songs on my wifes laptop for her iPod.
