I recently reformatted my computer, and I'm going through the process of reinstalling all the software. Before I wiped it, I had Palm Desktop running and was syncronising with my Zire with no problems.
Now that I've reinstalled it, it won't connect to my device. I know it's not a hardware problem, as the connection is fine when I use Card Export to mount my SD card as a drive. It seems that HotSync Manager is ignoring my device's request for a sync.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Palm Desktop, and I've installed the Palm Conduit for iSync (just incase that was the problem). Nothing seems to work. HotSync is enabled, and listening on my USB port. I've looked through all the help files, and done the online troubleshooter, but they all assume that you can do a sync.
Help?
