Not at all.

I find it a lot easier to think about something new, a theory, a reform....etc.
To me that is much easier than actually learning something already covered 100 billion times over.
Sadly though, sometimes the latter is needed in order to handle the former.

Yes.... Using a lot of imagination is easier though. It really depends on the person and what they are supposed to have imagination on. I am well respected by my office for my ability to think laterally and come up with good approaches to problems. On the other hand I would be hard pressed to write a short story or even come up with something to paint that was not based upon experience or something I see in front of me.

It is easy to get trapped into a way of thinking.

using a little imagination is easy for me. If i use too much it makes my brain swell and leaks out my left ear a bit. *Fallooza wonders why it never leaks out the right*
