My mouse leaves black squares trails behind where ever it goes in my MacMini! Help!!

Nothing else works when this happens. If I turn my mac off and back on, it disappears for a while but then it comes back. Can you help please?

You've provided no information to help us even suggest a possible solution, so please: 1) What Mac model/year are you using; 2) What OS X is installed; 3) Is this a wired or a bluetooth mouse; 4) What is the brand/model of the mouse; 5) Is this a new problem, possibly after an OS X upgrade; 6) What else have to tried to correct the problem; and 7) Do you have another mouse or trackpad to test? Dave
