When I hit delete one specific email it says "Are you sure you want to delete 1,635 emails?" so I hit Cancel out of fear it will take everything else with it. The email in question is from a developer who has sophisticated protection, so it is not likely a bug, but could be. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick

Delete mailbox

This raises a question to which I hope somebody has the answer.

In my Archive File there are 2 identical "On My Mac" mailboxes. I deleted one of the mailboxes inside one of the 2 and both were deleted and they are now nowhere to be found. Time Machine doesn't appear to have them either or at any rate Mail doesn't seem to be an option at all in Time Machine.
