iTunes Equalizer Not Working with Quicktime Files

I'm using a Macbook Pro, OS 10.10.2 using iTunes 12.1.0.50. When playing Quicktime files within iTunes, there is an option (Get Info) that lets you choose an Equalizer setting for each movie. But, it's not working. In fact, when using the equalizer from the main menu (to apply the same EQ setting across all audio), it too isn't working for Quicktime files. Works fine for mp3 files, but not quicktime.

Any ideas?

I have been using "EqualizerPro" software on my mac. It is working perfectly for me. It has more than 20 preset settings. You can try this one.
