Hay everyone!

My wife has an iMac that is going so I got her a PowerMac G4, it should be here today. I have software on the iMac that I do not have disks for. Can I system link the two together and transfer the software from the iMac to the G4. The software is like Quark Express and other graphics software.

Thanks for any help..................Dave

Yes, a crossover cable inbetween the two ethernet ports will do what you're wanting it to do. Just remember in System Preferences>Network to turn on file sharing.

...or just look in your Utilities folder for a program called "Migration Assistant", this will walk you through transferring files from one Mac to another.
