Launchpad icons

Is there a way to remove icons in Launchpad or at least shift them to the "other" page?
I tried downloading launchpad cleaner but it does not seem to instal on Yosermite.
(new iMAC with Yosermite)

Try dragging them to the side or corner. Thats what I do.

Thanks for that. It seems you have to hold them off screen for a second.
