Help, my Safari browser has been acting super strange lately! It keeps changing my default browser automatically from Google to Only Search (if you use the search engine Only Search it takes you to Yahoo.com). My search bar will onlysearch on Yahoo no matter what I do to make it Google. On top of that I get MacKeeper popups every time I click on a link. What is wrong with my computer and how do I fix it?! And its only been happening since i updated to 10.10.1 so i don't think its a virus.

Not a virus but you might have picked up some malware. you might want to download Adware Medic. Run that and see if it clears up the problem.

Also Mackeeper is a very bad thing to have installed. There is a whole thread here warning people to uninstall it.

After AdwareMedic, also download and install AdBlockPlus and Ghostery.

Glad that helped. I've managed to avoid malware so far but I've sen first hand how frustrating it can be when someone is hit by it. I haven't had any kind of malware blocker on my Mac in years but added that one due to the number of users who have been using it successfully.

Thank you for the blessing. I never turn those down.

I had nothing but problems after upgrading to Yosemite. Went to the Apple store and they erased my HD, did a clean install, and reloaded my time machine back ups. Works great now.

Type each one into the search bar of your browser and then go to the # 1 hit and download them.
