Boot Air 11" erased MacBook from ISO on a different computer

Is it possible to use an ISO on say.. a MacBook pro as the "target" boot disk (no CDROM on either) to reinstall Snow Leopard on my Air after erasing the OS (which was Lion)?

Any suggestions would be great.

What version of OS X did the MacBook Air come with? If the MBA shipped with Lion you will be unable to install Snow Leopard on it.
